Macayla Thompson

In her role, Macayla assists advisors and clients with account updates, paperwork, money movement, and general account questions, approaching each interaction with kindness and a commitment to accuracy. She focuses on building trusting relationships and ensuring clients feel comfortable and supported as they work toward their financial goals.

Outside of work, Macayla enjoys reading, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family, which she considers her greatest priority.

Chloe Bauer

Chloe Bauer serves in Marketing and Client Services at Waznik Heike Group, where she brings creativity, energy, and strategic insight to support both the firm and its clients. She focuses on enhancing client experiences, strengthening communications, and helping translate complex financial concepts into clear, approachable messaging.

Chloe specializes in marketing strategy, brand development, event planning, and client communications. She works closely with advisors to ensure every client touchpoint is meaningful, organized, and engaging. Her goal is to help clients feel informed, connected, and confident in the support they receive.

Outside of work, Chloe enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends, as well as her dog. She loves fishing, gardening, and making the most of the outdoors whenever she can.

Katie Larsen

Katie Larsen is an Executive Assistant at Waznik Heike Group, bringing more than 21 years of experience in financial services, banking, and tax preparation to her role. Since joining the firm, she has provided administrative and client service support to a team of advisors, with a focus on delivering a seamless, professional experience at every touchpoint.

Katie's background includes lending and banking and tax services. She values transparency and strives to communicate information in a clear, accessible way for all clients regardless of their financial background.

Active in her community, Katie serves on the board of community organizations and participates in mission trips. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends, and her dog.

Hannah Brommer

Hannah Brommer is a Client Relationship Manager at Waznik Heike Group - Eau Claire, bringing more than four years of experience in financial services to her role. Since joining the firm, she has worked to help clients implement and maintain their financial plans, supporting insurance, investment, and planning operations with attention to detail and clear communication.

Hannah holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota Duluth and an insurance license. She is committed to being a dependable resource for clients—someone they can turn to for guidance, answers, and assurance that their needs are being addressed. She takes pride in helping clients feel confident and supported throughout their financial journey.

Outside of work, Hannah is an avid animal lover and serves as an athletic event volunteer at North High School, across multiple sports including volleyball, basketball, and baseball.

Betty Vang

Executive Assistant

Betty Vang is an Executive Assistant at Waznik Heike Group, providing operational and administrative support to the firm's partners. Betty brings prior administrative experience from the healthcare and higher education sectors, along with a commitment to attentive, thoughtful service.

Betty focuses on supporting the firm's partners with day-to-day business needs, helping them stay focused on serving clients. She values building genuine connections and believes the most meaningful work comes from truly listening to and understanding the needs of those she serves.

Outside of work, Betty enjoys staying active with her husband and two boys through bike rides, walks, and trips to Door County. She is a Green Bay Packers fan and is actively involved in her church, where she volunteers teaching Sunday School, leading worship, and participating in the women's ministry.

Brennan Anderson

Brennan Anderson is an Intern at Waznik Heike Group, where he has supported the team since August 2025. His responsibilities include meeting preparation, investment research, and producing client reports and illustrations. Brennan brings prior experience as a financial advisor intern and is focused on ensuring each client interaction is positive and well-supported.

Brennan is attentive to detail and committed to presenting information in a clear, easy-to-understand manner. He has aspirations of pursuing a career as a financial advisor. Outside of work, he enjoys waterskiing and spending time with family and friends.

Mya Gerlach

Mya Gerlach is an Intern at Waznik Heike Group, where she focuses on supporting operations and client service to ensure every interaction is smooth and positive. Since joining the firm, she has helped with account openings and assisted wherever needed, always bringing a positive attitude and strong organizational skills to her work. 

Mya is committed to helping clients and coworkers pursue their goals while creating an uplifting and enjoyable experience. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, reading, gardening, and played volleyball for six years. Motivated by a passion for helping people plan for their future, Mya aspires to become a financial advisor and looks forward to continuing to grow her skills in the industry.
